A leaking hot water tank is not fun. When a tank begins to leak, we may not know for days or even weeks. This can lead to flooding your basement and damaging your flooring, drywall, furniture and other belongings. 

When changing your hot water tank, we have a flood protection package for limiting the effects of a leaking tank.

For only $295 + GST we can add a metal pan with an attachment that runs pipe to your drain. In the event of a future leak, the water is directed to the drain. (if there is no available drain, this step is not done.)

We then install a water sensor in the pan, that has an audible alarm if water is detected.

You can upgrade to the very cool wifi water detector for an additional $180 + GST. You can link to your phone and be notified of the leak wherever you are.
